From classical music to comedy:

More than 150 theatre stages are offering a comprehensive program every day. Berlin provides three opera houses and several musical theatres. The city is also the home of the world-renowned Berliner Philharmoniker who you should experience during a concert at the Philharmonie whose acoustic is world-famous as well.

You find more than 175 museums in Berlin. The most famous location is the Museumsinsel with the Pergamon-Museum, with the Altes and Neues Museum and with the Alte Nationalgalerie. Also the various minor museums of Berlin are worth visiting. About 300 galleries are first of all providing contemporary art.

Berlin is the city of stars:
International bands and pop-stars love the city and its audiences. Many concert locations and open-air-festivals (in summer) are thus attracting the celebrities of rock and pop.
