How can I ascertain if a treatment at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin is possible at all?

Please send your medical documents in German, English or Russian to the International Office of the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (e-mail: info@ukb-international.com). The accordant specialist department will then check the possibility of a treatment.

How long do I have to wait for a response to my treatment request?

We will normally respond to your treatment request within 48 hours (2 working days).

What do the costs of my treatment consist of?

The International Office will issue an individual cost estimate after the review of your medical documents and after consulting the specialist department.

Such cost estimate includes the costs of the following services:

  • General hospital service: Invoicing according to day-specific hospital- and-nursing charges.
  • Chief Physician service (all included specialist departments)
  • Room service (including WLAN and meals)
  • On demand: Accommodation and meals for an accompanying person

Do I have to effect a down payment regarding the estimated costs prior to the treatment?

The cost estimate has to be settled completely prior to the treatment. Any overpaid amounts will immediately be refunded upon availability of the final invoice.

How soon can my admission be performed?

If you agree to the conditions, please transfer the full amount of the cost estimate to our stated bank-account. You will be provided with a guaranteed early admission date in writing immediately after we have received the full amount.

Does the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin accept cost assumption guarantees?

We do unfortunately not accept cost assumption guarantees.

May I bring along an accompanying person? Will a visa invitation be issued for such accompanying person?

Accompanying persons are welcome and will of course be considered within the visa invitation.
