Our clinic

More than 3,800 interventions are annually being performed at the Clinic for Accident Surgery and Orthopaedics.

Surgeries in respect to the treatment of bone fractures are being performed by means of the latest implants and according to most sparing methods. The spinal and pelvic surgery represents a particularly challenging component of the surgical spectrum.

Another focus of the clinic is the treatment of complex bone-, joint- and soft tissue-infections. This includes intramedullary drilling, the removal of inflammatory changed bone- and soft tissue-segments, flap plasties for purposes of defect covering, split-skin- and full-thickness-skin transplantations as well as reconstructions and corrections of osseous defects.
