Our clinic
Approx. 11,000 patients with internistic diseases are annually being treated on the part of our emergency department and approx. 4,200 patients are annually being treated as inpatients (72 beds including 20 beds with bedside monitoring).
Specialised outpatient centres guarantee a high quality of care in cases of rare and severe diseases. Seriously ill patients are being treated at the interdisciplinary ICUs after the primary care at the emergency department. The clinic features three modern heart catheter laboratories incl. electrophysiology and one endoscopy-unit. The department for functional diagnostics uses all diagnostic methods of current internal medicine / cardiology.
