Clinic for Urology and Neurourology
- Urinary bladder emptying disturbances
- Prostate diseases, erectile disorders
- Urological tumours
The Clinic for Urology and Neurourology is involved in the treatment of most severely injured patients, i.e. particularly in respect of the co-treatment regarding kidneys, urinary bladder and urethra. Treatments in the context of neurourology as for instance urinary bladder emptying disturbances are being performed in close cooperation with the Treatment Centre for Spinal Cord Injuries and with the Clinic for Neurology.
The Department for Uro-Oncology uses all current surgery methods including 3D-laparoscopy, e.g. in respect of prostatectomy. As regards neurological patients against the background of the wish to have children, there are different available methods for purposes of ejaculate harvesting.
